I covered “Trashing The Dress ” in a recent blog and this week I thought I’d write something about an alternative, much less extreme option that brides can consider.
After the wedding before you clean and pack away your dress you may like to take your new husband and your dress to somewhere totally different and unusual and create some really arty, creative, fabulous, unusual, fashion style photographs that will compliment the photographs that were taken on your wedding day. This trend is already big in the U.S. and becoming popular in Australia and New Zealand.
And it’s now growing in popularity in the UK, to such an extent that we are now beginning to include this in our wedding packages. It’s a great chance to use your wedding dress again and it’s a real opportunity to get some very different arty shots you would not have dreamt of doing on your wedding day. Remember also you and your new husband are now much more comfortable in front of the camera, you now also know your photographer really well now having spent the whole day with him or her on your wedding day. Its also really good fun and a chance for you to let your hair down in a way you may not have been able to on your wedding day.
So, before you clean your lovely dress and put it in a posh box consider giving it one more blast.
